Benford Capital Partners (“Benford Capital” or “BCP”) is pleased to announce that its portfolio company Nutrition Service Company (“NSC”) recently completed two add-on acquisitions, Echo Ridge Ag Services, LLC (“Echo Ridge”) and Kress Farm Supply, Inc, (d/b/a Sherwood Elevator) (“Sherwood”). Based in Pulaski, WI, NSC is a leading producer of custom feed blends for dairy cattle, processed soybean products, and other agricultural products and services.

Founded and led by Dave Strebe and his wife Brenda, Echo Ridge is a leading Wisconsin-based nutrition consulting services business to more than 50 dairies in Wisconsin. Dave will continue to lead Echo Ridge post-closing, while also supporting NSC’s existing team of dairy nutritionists.

Founded in 1951, Sherwood Elevator is a fourth-generation family-owned dairy feed mill based in Sherwood, WI. The Company was owned by Klair, Kurt, Klay, and Karol Kress, who, over several decades, developed a reputation for delivering high-quality feed and processed grain and providing excellent service to its loyal customer base. Following a transition period, the sale to NSC will provide a path to retirement for the Kress family.
