Benford Capital Partners (“Benford Capital” or “BCP”) and KCM Capital Partners (“KCM”) today announced that their portfolio company Filtration Solutions Group (“FSG” or the “Platform”) has acquired Filter Services of Indiana and FSI Filtration (collectively, “FSI” or the “Company”). FSI is the first add-on acquisition for FSG since BCP and KCM formed the Platform through the acquisition of Carolina Filters in June 2025.

Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, with additional locations in Ft. Wayne, IN, Cincinnati, OH, and South Bend, IN, FSI is a leading value-added distributor of air filtration products and recurring filtration services to education, healthcare, commercial and industrial, and municipal customers across the Midwest. Over more than three decades, the company has earned a reputation for responsive, relationship-driven service. Ernie Kelly, who acquired the business in 2011 and formed EJK Air, Inc. dba Filter Services of Indiana, and President Kasey Harpold will remain with the business as continuing owners in the combined company.

Joining FSG gives FSI’s customers access to a wider range of services, including duct cleaning, coil cleaning, and fire damper inspections, delivered by the same team they rely on today. For FSG, FSI brings a strong base of Midwest customer relationships and decades of filtration expertise to build on, along with deeper access to the industry’s leading filtration brands.
