Benford Capital Partners, LLC (“Benford Capital”) and Will Daly are pleased to announce they have acquired Atlas RFID Solutions Store, LLC (“Atlas” or the “Company”) in partnership with management.

Founded in 2008 and based in Birmingham, AL, Atlas is a B2B eCommerce value-added distributor of radio frequency identification (“RFID”) tags, readers, and equipment.  RFID technology is used in many applications such as inventory management, asset tracking, and asset control.

Atlas has become the largest independent pure play distributor of RFID products in North America, with distribution agreements in place with leading RFID OEMs including: ThingMagic, Alien, Zebra, Smartrac, and Impinj.  Atlas also develops, integrates, and supports customized RFID solutions for its clients.

Senior management team members Shain Armstrong, Peter Bergeron, James Thrasher, and Rick Williams will be continuing in their current roles and as significant investors in Atlas post-closing.  Shain Armstrong, President of Atlas, noted: “the Company will continue to offer unparalleled industry expertise and leadership across a wide range of RFID products, solutions and end markets.  Benford Capital’s long-term focus and Will Daly’s significant industry experience made them a logical choice as partners, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to grow our business with them.”
