Benford Capital Partners (“Benford Capital” or “BCP”), a Chicago-based private equity investment firm, and its portfolio company, BSC Industries, LLC (“BSC”), are pleased to announce the acquisition of Gipson Bearing & Supply Co., Inc. (“Gipson” or the “Company”).

Founded in 1957, Gipson is a third-generation, family-owned distributor of precision bearings, bushings, chains, sprockets, seals, adhesives, and other industrial components serving MRO and OEM customers across diverse industries. Headquartered in West Homestead (Pittsburgh), PA, with additional locations in Punxsutawney, PA, and Wintersville, OH, the Company has built a strong reputation for technical expertise and service excellence. All employees will remain with the combined platform post-closing.

The acquisition expands BSC’s geographic footprint into Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio, supporting its strategy of building a leading value-added distributor of industrial products and components, while creating cross-selling opportunities across both companies’ customer bases.
