Benford Capital Partners, LLC (“Benford Capital” or “BCP”), a Chicago-based private equity investment firm, is pleased to announce the sale of ENMET, LLC (“ENMET”) to Sagepeak Capital, LLC (“Sagepeak Capital”), a Boston-based private investment firm. The sale of ENMET represents another successful outcome for Benford Capital in the test and measurement industry, a core focus area in which the firm has made five investments.

Founded in 1970, ENMET (www.enmet.com) is a leading manufacturer of hazardous gas detection equipment for health, safety and medical applications. Benford Capital acquired ENMET in 2014 from the estate of founder, Dr. Verne Brown. Upon its investment, Benford Capital recruited Norm Davis and Jim Lemon as President and VP Finance, respectively.
