Benford Capital Partners (“Benford Capital” or “BCP”) and Industrial QC Holdings, LLC (“Industrial QC”) are pleased to announce the acquisition of Strainoptics, LLC (“Strainoptics” or the “Company”). Strainoptics represents Industrial QC’s third investment, following the acquisition of LiteSentry, LLC (“LiteSentry”) in November 2019 and Softsolution GmbH (“Softsolution) in July 2021.

Founded in 1985 and based in North Wales, Pennsylvania, Strainoptics is a leader in non-destructive stress measurement and optical inspection instruments for glass and plastics manufacturers worldwide. The Company’s GASP polarimeter is an internationally recognized standard for measuring surface stress in heat-strengthened or tempered glass.
